A Night Stroll performance
52 taught strings under an acoustic, maple wooden bed. On one side of the bed, Yaeli Tai, and on the other side, Yaniv Schnetzer pluck the bed and voice strings. In the middle of a circular audience, every three minutes, one of the guests are invited to lie down on the bed, to feel and to absorb, through their body, the cosmic and earthly frequencies that result from the connection between the strings and the human body.
The bed of strings, which was invented by Swiss musicologist and therapist, Dr. Joachim Marz, is kept in the Interdisciplinary Center for Musical Instruments in Jerusalem, which is part of a unique project created by Yaniv Schnetzer.
*Throughout the night of Night Stroll, the 30-minute performance will be staged four times:
Performance 1: 1:50am
Performance 2: 2:30am
Performance 3: 3:05am
Performance 4: 3:45am
Each performance is limited to a maximum of 10 people. In order to ensure your place, please register with the usher shortly before your select performance begins. Participation is on a first come, first served basis.
