On the magical stage of the amphitheater in Liberty Bell Park, fourteen musicians dressed in traditional clothing transformed the night into an experience of musical ecstasy that combined the classical Arab qanun with the black beats of Africa. The Culture Musical Club from the heart of Zanzibar who have been performing for 70 years presented an ensemble of sound and enchanted vocals from Spice Island, ranging from Black African Music and Arabic music to the influences of Indian and European classical music.

The ensemble performed a number of pieces from their repertoire with alternating soloists who were accompanied by Haviv Shahada on the oud and as musical director.
