The presale tickets at a reduced price for the "Tongues of Fire" performance by Eviatar Banai have run out! Our recommendation: snap up the remaining tickets before they run out too!Tongues of Fire
A journey that begins at a kiosk overlooking a village, crosses the city with capoeira steps and ends between three religions.
A journey by foot and on wheels
Dissolving Boundaries, Mekudeshet’s flagship event, attempts to turn Jerusalem and the people who make up the city into raw material. To draw from a reality that exists 365 days a year in order to create an artistic experience that unfolds along the seamline between documentary and performance. It identifies, highlights, strengthens and accentuates the phenomena, places and people who make Jerusalem into a living laboratory that seeks out creative solutions to Jerusalem’s most daunting challenges. And then creates from all of this original thought and activism a work of art that also creates change—in consciousness and on the ground.

Journey no. 3 was created strictly for the brave, for those who are not afraid to face the challenges that Jerusalem poses. The journey, which will be led by a Jerusalem duo who will guide you via earphones in Hebrew and Arabic and curiously, speak to each other in the language of the Mandate (English). The tri-lingual journey is perfect for anyone who is curious about languages and how they interact, which is something you can appreciate even if you don’t speak all three. However, if you don’t speak at least two, we recommend you chose a different journey.
The tri-lingual journey is longer than the other journeys (about 7 hours) so we have included a break to let you freshen up and reenergize. It will take you from east to west and back, present you with complex and sometimes contradictory narratives and will almost certainly leave you with a few unanswered questions…
This is a unique journey that will challenge anyone who chooses to join—almost as much as it challenges those who created it or are involved with it.
