For one night, the Tower of David will turn into a new tribal camp where a fire (both metaphorically and actually) of revelation and dedication will be lit by bands from the four corners of the earth.
You are invited to join us on a transformative journey that draws its inspiration from the tribal music from almost every corner of the earth, during which the flamekeepers on stage will lead you into private and collective trance. If you chose to come to just the second set, a lively, fast tempo hypnotic experience will await you.
In the second, blistering set:
The first band to take to the stage, for the first time in Israel, will be the Tunisian band with an especially catchy name, Ifriqiyya Electrique, which pulls together an unlikely mix of the Tunisian ritual for “expelling demons,” originating from the Sahara desert, with electric guitar riffs, bass, and some serious distortion. This will be followed by last performance of the night, a collaborative and first-time performance by the Israeli electro band, Red Axes and the Yakomin lineup from the Ivory Coast.
The end of the set, towards the third watch, will move on to an electronic tribal celebration in a party that will keep the fire alight.
Ifriqiyya Electrique (Tunisia)
Red Axes Feat, Yakomin (Israel / Ivory Coast)
